Welcome to the Russian Orthodox Parish of Archangel Michael, Blacktown New SouthWales, Australia Russian Orthodox Faith

We are a parish of The Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR)

Our local Russian Orthodox community has a history going back to the establishment of a Russian Orthodox mission in Blacktown in 1952.

We strive to be a devout comminty with a warm welcome to visitors and new parishioners. We usually have a light lunch after the Liturgy on Sundays. All those who attended the Liturgy are welcome to join us in the Parish Hall.

Our services are in both Church Slavonic and English, although currently predominantly in Church Savonic. The sermons are in English.

The Role of this website

To assist members of our parish in the practice of their Faith through practical communication as well is providing a resource for Orthodox Christians and those interested in Christian Orthodoxy. A resource on the journey of understanding of the Faith delivered to the Apostles.
